Gravel & Grit

One project. Its own sound. Same weathered ground as everything else here.

Close-up of hands resting on the body of an acoustic guitar in a dim room, north-facing window light casting a pale strip across the strings, worn fret board visible in deep shadow, aged wood texture filling the frame

Where the sound came from

These tracks were recorded in the same spirit as the poems — late, quiet, with whatever was at hand. No studio, no producer notes, no second-guessing the room tone.

The distortion on Threshold is the building. The silence in Stone Light is intentional. Nothing was fixed in post that felt true in the room.
